1978-2009

• John Deere; Waterloo, IA
   - Worked for 32 years in gears and shaft manufacturing
   - Worked at the John Deere Harvester works in East Moline from 1984-1989 for the      introduction of the 9000 series combines to set up gear and shaft manufacturing
   - Set up drive train gear and shaft manufacturing operations for 7000, 8000, & 9000      series tractors
   - Bought and commissioned about 50 machine tools and set up new processes: gun      drilling of long transmission shafts, double disc grinding, honing & grinding of gear      teeth, etc.
   - Innovation for PDEP procedures (invention); new step "Tentative Release ($)"; which      will allow tool and gage design to be done to save capital dollars and make better use      of limited design resources

2004-2009

• Worked in John Deere Tractor Works in China
   -Set up gear and shaft manufacturing operations at various suppliers in China for the     Global Tractors 5000 series (GT5)
   -Provided technical manufacturing operation guidance, quality planning and supplier     development

1999-2004

•New Product Project Manager, John Deere
   - New product project manager for Drive Train components (gears & shafts) for the      introduction of all new tractor programs from 1999-2004

1996-1998

• Set up new John Deere Factory in Chihuahua, Mexico
   - Worked in Mexico for 3 years for Teammate-3 axle program
   - Provided technical guidance to "ENCO" to set up spiral bevel gear & pinion sets and      "Tremac" to set up gears & shafts for Teammate program
   - Helped ENCO to buy used Gleason machines from Russia through a US machine      supplier for half the price of a new machine and ordered all the tooling for Teammate      program from Gleason Co.

1963-1978

• Worked in machinery plants
   -Worked in India at a heavy machine building plant in Ranchi, Bahar, with Russian     collaboration from 1963-1976
   -Worked at Commercial Machine works in Elk Grove Village, IL from 1976-1978
